Slower growing than the native colorado spruce this semi dwarf selection is useful for smaller landscapes and confined spaces. Every tree is very blue with needles arranged in a full round pattern.

This is a high maintenance tree that will require regular care and upkeep. The needles are longer on lower branches and shorter on upper branches. Its average texture blends into the landscape but can be balanced by one or two finer or coarser trees or shrubs for an effective composition. Growing only a few inches per year it develops a broad pyramidal form.

If left to grow naturally it takes on the typical pyramid shape seen in many conifers.
